This is a complementary poem that works with the previous “Ego (holding on).” This poem explores the freedom found in letting go of the stories we tell ourselves. In turn, we become the YES to it all.
New poem on how the constriction of the self is caused by our attachment to the stories we think define who we are.
Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret has been such an influential documentary for me. This is a poem that has come out as a result of a growing strive to protect Mother Earth. Give it a watch on Netflix.
I don’t know quite what to say in times like these. Obviously, it is important to fight and speak against racism, that’s not quite what I am getting at (in terms of subject matter). I hope this new poem finds you well. May you be happy. May you be peaceful.
This too will pass. Enjoy the new poem! Take some time for yourself today and focus on each breath, that’s all there is.
